I can assure you I will not! The people here are surprisingly tight-lipped about the many things that have gone wrong for them so far regardless, or perhaps they all assume that someone else has already explained everything. Even so!

Ah. That. I'm not certain what causes it, but there seem to be names people can't say, even if they wish to. Facts erased from books. Whole histories missing.

It sounds like someone is trying very hard to make sure that certain facts remain unknown.

My favorite since I was a child, William Blake. Yours has a much earlier pedigree, but I haven't made sense of how or why some worlds share poetry while also diverging wildly otherwise.
