[It isn't as though Constantin has to wait very long? Not once he allows Felix to tip his head back, anyway, because the ease with which it all happens is clearly tacit approval. That's all that Felix needs, but feeling that hand slide back, fingers just barely slipping into his messy hair, doesn't hurt. No one touches him like this, he can't help but to think, the quiet thrill of it sending his eyes drifting down to Constantin's lips. No one is permitted to.

...Except for this person who does, in fact, appreciate him for him—and while that reminder is unnecessary, it is what finally what spurs Felix forward. There's no need to think about where they are, or how they're positioned, or what they're even doing; there's simply Felix's hand slipping down to the side of Constantin's neck, thumb resting ever so lightly atop the line of his jaw as Felix closes that last bit of distance between them. It's nothing complicated. Felix has kissed others before, albeit very rarely and very, very long ago, but where those were quick, hurried things, this is...

Well. It's little more than a clumsy brush of lips, at first. Felix barely avoiding bumping their noses together as he remembers how this works, but it isn't as though it's a terribly complicated thing; soon he's doubling down on his efforts, pressing his lips to Constantin's a touch more firmly as his confidence swells, as he fully accepts that, yes, this is indeed what he wants. Maybe it's foolish! Maybe it's reckless! Maybe it's many things, but he's determined—and thus he narrows his focus to Constantin, savoring this simple, chaste kiss for as long as he's allowed.
